Its alright booking a relaxing fun caravan holiday if
you are not sure, and are going to worry about, how you are going
to get there.
Over the years millions of people have visited the
Lincolnshire east coast, particularly major resorts like Skegness and
the up and coming coastal areas of Ingoldmells, Chapel St Leonard's
and Mablethorpe.
 Millions
more have still to sample the beautiful tranquility of the rambling
Lincolnshire countryside, the lowland
fens, the historical architectural sites and buildings such as Lincoln
Castle. All this coupled with the modern coastal seaside delights, all
the
attractions,
the entertainment, the miles of award winning golden
beaches, leisure parks including names like Butlins Holiday Park and
Fantasy Island Theme Park, that each year caters for an ever increasing
number of visitors.
With this increasing number of visitors, most arriving by
car, comes the modern traffic congestion. Traffic congestion is cause by many factors,
but locally, one is due to the steep
increase in volume in the main summer holiday season, a second is due to the
holiday makers not knowing exactly where they are going, hence going round in circles causing more congestion and
the "temperature starts to get warmer" in the car, at the start of your
holiday.
What l will try to do on this page is give you
directions on "How to find Kelay Caravans by Car", and information
on other associated forms of travel i.e. Rail, Coach, Bus and Taxi. These
instructions below will not remove other road users or take away
the other traffic congestion but it might help you focus on where you need to be
and how to go straight there.
Good Luck!
Heading from the North or the Midlands you need to enter the area via
Gunby Roundabout (as on the map above), at that roundabout both ways should
take the turning for Skegness (duel carriage way). To avoid long traffic
delays position yourself in the left hand lane and bear left at the traffic
lights, this is will be signed for Orby, Ingoldmells and Chapel St
Leonard's. Continue through Orby past the Skegness stock car stadium until
you come to traffic lights:- THEN

at those lights on to Walls Lane, at that point you will see the "Cheers
Pub" on your left with shops on your right. Continue down Walls Lane for 200
/ 300 yards and the entrance
to Millfield Caravan Park is on your right. Once you enter the site continue
on the site road and you want to be heading toward the top left hand section
of the park, where our caravans are located.

orange palm trees outside). 100 yards passed these is the first right hand turning,
